Driving Licenses:

The motorcycle license: the license AM, A1, A2 y A

• AM: It allows driving light quadricycles and two- or three-wheeled mopeds with a cylinder capacity of less than 50 cubic centimetres and which do not exceed 45 km/h.

• A1: With this license you can drive motorcycles of up to 125 cubic centimeters and a power of 11 kW (about 15 HP).
  

• A2: With the A2 you can drive motorcycles of 35 kW (about 47 hp) and the minimum age to take the test is 18 years.

• A: This license allows you to drive any type of vehicle under A2, A1 and AM.

The car license: the license B

You must be at least 18 years old to obtain it and it authorizes you to drive the following vehicles:

• Vehicles with a maximum authorized mass not exceeding 3,500 kg and with a maximum number of nine occupants, including the driver.

• Motor tricycles and quadricycles.

• 125cc motorcycles with a maximum power of 11 kW, as long as you have a minimum of three years' experience with this license.

The Truck License: Permit C

         C1: With this type of permit, you can drive vehicles with a Maximum Authorized Mass (MMA) that exceeds 3,500 kg and does not surpass 7,500 kg.

         C: This type is for driving vehicles with an MMA greater than 3,500 kg, similar to the C1.

The Bus License: Permit D

          D1: With this license, you can drive vehicles intended for passenger transport with a maximum of 16 passengers.

          D: This type allows you to drive vehicles intended for transporting more than eight passengers in addition to the driver.

The Heavy Trailer License: Permit E

Except for motorcycle licenses, all the aforementioned driving licenses allow you to tow trailers with an MMA of up to 750 kg. If we want to exceed that mass, we will need to obtain the E license, which allows us to drive the corresponding vehicle along with a trailer or semi-trailer with an MMA greater than 750 kg.

Types of Licenses

          LCM: To drive vehicles for people with reduced mobility. The minimum age to obtain it is fourteen years.

          LVA: To drive special self-propelled agricultural vehicles and their combinations, whose authorized maximum mass or dimensions do not exceed the limits established for ordinary vehicles, or whose maximum speed by construction does not exceed 45 km/h. The minimum age to obtain it is sixteen years.
